Mediaportal dont detect dvb-s card ? (1 Viewer)

Hi all.

I have a Technotrend S-2400 USB 2.0 DVB-S card. Its on the supported card list.

But mediapotal cant find the card. I have tryed different drivers, including the newest one 1.0.0.14.

It works fine with my S2 card.

Anyone have any ideer to make it work ?

Which driver have used.. when testing the card ?

Oki here´s what i found out.. -- Still need help

If i take a look in the configuration.log, I can see that MP actually finds the card, but its still complaining about "No Video capture device"

First one is the Skystar2 card.. which works fine. Second is the S-2400.

The Id for the USB2 device is correct in the CaptureCardDefinitions.xml - vid_0b48&pid_3006.

I have looked in the guide for using Graphedit. But when I try to make a Graph, graphedit complaints when i try to connect the "Microsoft DVBS network Provider" to the Tuner.

--"These filters cannot agree on a connection. Verify type compatibility of input pin and output pin"---

I think this is the problem, if graphedit cant connect - then i dont think MP can either.

But.. why cant they connect.. im stuck..

The card i own is the S2-3600 but as a matter of fact, even the S-2400 definition is wrong. You can easily fix it editing the card definition xml file.
