I installed Mediaportal recently, it works greatwhen i start it using the mediaportal icon. However it hangs at the "Initialising Skin" screen when I configure it to run automatically when windows starts, or if I put a mediaportal shortcut in the Startup folder.
I thought the problem could be that the system hadnt booted up completely, so I used the delay function - tried 20, 30, 45 and 60 secs with the same result. I also tried invoking mediaportal automatically from a batch file after a delay of 60 seconds from startup. But that didnt work either.
Looking at the log I see that the log hangs just after "using default mappings for DirectInput" and before
"using default mappings for General HID". (have attached my log)
Could have something to do with my HID driver?
