However it hangs at the "Initialising Skin" screen when I configure it to run automatically when windows starts, or if I put a mediaportal shortcut in the Startup folder.</p><p></p><p>I thought the problem could be that the system hadnt booted up completely, so I used the delay function - tried 20, 30, 45 and 60 secs with the same result. I also tried invoking mediaportal automatically from a batch file after a delay of 60 seconds from startup. But that didnt work either.</p><p></p><p>Looking at the log I see that the log hangs just after "using default mappings for DirectInput" and before</p><p> "using default mappings for General HID". (have attached my log) </p><p></p><p>Could have something to do with my HID driver?</p><p></p><p>Thanks in advance for your help.</p></blockquote><p></p>
