In my country (Poland), we have two tv systems - PAL_B and PAL_D. So, I have to manually edit channel properties in MediaPortal setup. It is easy.
But, when I am in MyTV, and I switch channels, these settings are completely ignored!!! For example, if I started with channel was set to PAL_B, all the others channels are received in PAL_B, and I have no proper sound on them.
There's a trick. To have proper sound I had to leave MyTv on this spoiled channel, and restart whole program (turn MediaPortal off and turn it on). Now the sound appears, but only on channels with PAL_D.
In conclusion: MediaPortal cannot switch tv systems on the fly. So what is it for - "TV channels editing option" ???
It is not fault of my TV card - ATI Theater 550. I use tv plugin for Winamp either, and it works perfectly. Switching amongst channels with different tv systems is immediate and smooth.
Does anybody know this problem? Give me the answer, please.
