mediaportal internal player setup (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have been using mediaportal for a couple of weeks now and love it. I am using the streamedMp skin with MP TV and Moving pictures plugin. At the moment I used MPC-HC a an external player to take advnatage of Mad VR. I use this with madflac and LAV filters. To bitstream my audio to my reciever.

I am wondering if I can setup the internal player to be comparable? I understand that madVR isn't supported. Simply I would like to get the best image quality possible? i.e. upscaled deinterlaced etc (I get very lost in all the jargon) and would like to bitstream my audio. Also allowing forced subtitles to be used.

Is there a generic setup guide somewhere that I am missing that is uptodate? most seem to be from 2008.

For what you want, I would try SAF6 (use forum search), use the settings on first page.

If nvidia gpu recommend LAV as video with cuvid enabled.
