Hi msalvia,

Sorry to hijack your thread, but I've been trolling through the forums trying to work out what I do remote wise. I've just installed MP v0.2.2.0, spent hours over this weekend. I already own a Logitech Harmony 880 remote, so am looking to use that, but it seems silly to buy a MCE remote when all I want is the IR reciever.

Could you enlighten me on what you are using please, did you have to buy a MCE remote???

Your tv card or case may come with a IR dongle. If not, your best bet is the MS remote that costs about 30 bucks.

I've decided to buy a case that includes IR, going with the Antec Fusion V2, so that means one less remote in the cupboard
