Surely someone can help me? I don't want to have to give up on MediaPortal already.

    Hi morphjk,

You need to supply a lot more information to enable others to assist you - please follow the instructions here.

For example, we don't know what version of MediaPortal you are using, are you using the client/server setup, what version of the BDA drivers you have installed, what have you already tried ... and so on.

Have you used the search feature to see if someone else with the same TV card has got it working?

And, please be a bit more patient - you only started this thread about 13 hours ago .... :(

Sorry I just really want to get it up and running (if it doesn't do what I told the wife it'll do I'm a dead man).

Okay I am using version 0.2.2.0

Sorry what is the client/server setup?

I am using the drivers that came with the card on the cd (plus tried the latest ones). Where should I download the BDA drivers from?

Yes I did do a search and it seems it has been working for other people but a lot didn't say how they got it to work.

Looks like you might have missed the fact that there is a link (instructions here) in my previous post?

I suggest that it would be better to use the latest version of MediaPortal (v0.2.3.0RC1). Could you please do the following:-

    1. Uninstall MediaPortal
    2. Delete all remaining files and folders in the "MediaPortal" folder
    3. Install MediaPortal 0.2.3.0RC1
    4. Reboot the PC
    5. Launch MediaPortal Setup and try to add your Dvico card in the "Television" section. If this step fails (you cannot "see" your card in MP Setup, or the channel scan fails to find any channels), close MP Setup and post the resulting MediaPortal.log file here as an attachment. That might give us a clue ....

Ok. I thought 0.2.2.0 was the stable version. But I have actually now got it working. I don't know how. I just did all the updates and un-installed the drivers and download the drivers using windows updates.
