MediaPortal on a LAN (1 Viewer)

Hi all I have been playing around with mediaportal at home and thought it would be great at the college I work at to serve the educational dvds we have.

I have built a new machine to act as a media sever and had planned to install mediaportal on the other machines that needed to use the dvds.

However I get an error when trying to run mediaportal as a restricted user "media portal has encountered an error and needs to close"

Has anyone tried this and suceeded or is there an error log I can refer to.

I bet you will need to give your users full read/write access to the team-mediaportal folder on the target computers.

I have now tried that and I have also made them local administrators but I still get the same problem. I think there must be a file or files outside of the media portal file structure, that need the same full access permissions
