Mediaportal on a PS3 (1 Viewer)

Hi Everyone,

My friend uses Mediaportal and loves it and after testing it on my PC I want to install it on my PS3.

The problem here is I will really need to install Kubuntu or Ubuntu on the PS3 but Mediaportal doesn't work on it I do not think.

Just want to know if anyone has any suggestions. I have looked at LinuxMCE + Kubuntu but that appears to be a nightmare to get going.

Anyone successfully done this or has an idea of how I could get it going on a Playstation 3?

I'm pretty sure you cannot install Windows on PS3, so it wont be possible to have MP on PS3.

I don't know anything about it, I don't even own a PS3 but a quick google found this... How to install windows XP on your PS3. Sounds like Vista is out of the question.

It uses emulation under Linux to run XP. Good bye to any media playback capabilities in MP
