First off, I have read the sticky.
I've been using MP 0.2.3.0 for a while now since when I try to install newer versions I get the message "Sorry your OS is not supported by MediaPortal !". I read the sticky and that you don't plan on a 64 bit version, but the thing is that you don't have to! Win XP 64 can run 32 bit apps perfectly fine, so all you need to do is allow us to install the regular 32 bit app and we'll be able to use it as well.
So far I've only had two problems with Xp x64:
1. Windows Live Messenger does a system check at installation, and they just like you, don't allow it to be installed on x64 machines. However, it was easy to bypass and I haven't had any problems running it since.
2. A 32 bit program that uses a 16 bit (which is not supported) installer for some reason.
So were there any specific problems running MediaPortal on x64 machines, or did you forbid it for some other reason? It's odd since 0.2.3.0 runs perfectly fine on my computer..
