Mediaportal overwriting my coverart (1 Viewer)

hehe, had a look into the code.
The Checkbox "Use coverart embeded in mp3's" is never checked.
If a file contains cover art it is always extracted.
Inserted code to honor the check box.
will be available with the next SVN build.

Sorry if I was unclear, what I also meant was that I stay away form the "Upgrade database" option in MP Music Settings if I use Tag&Rename otherwise they sort of knock each other out. I do also have a problem that I can add jpgs individually to music files but only one shows in MP Music view, on a similar system using the same Music folder my Linux box and Amarok music player shows correctly that each music file has a different jpg embedded ! Go figure !

Currently we're not extracting the CoverArt out of the file when playing an individual file.
We grab it from the thumbs\music\albums folder and search for a file named "ArtistName-AlbumName.jpg".
This is what gets displayed right now.

With the new Tagreader in place it is much more easier to access files on the fly and extract embeded cover art.
I'll have a look on it, what i might do.
However, i'll be travelling the next 2 weeks and won't have time to do it before

I really think you should change the behaviour of overwriting the files inside
"Thumbs->music->albums"

Anyway to fix this without getting latest SVN (it screws up the MePo-skins )?
