Mediaportal quits when zapping TV (1 Viewer)

When I change a channel watching TV, MP1.1 RC6 mostly ends comes back in Windows.

I think it's a crash, could have something to do with codecs?
I have MP uninstalled and installed it again, but zapping between channels still quits MP.

Does anybody know how to fix this?
Where can I find logs of this strange behaviour?

First I would recommend to check if the same behavior happens with the latest stable release that is currently 1.1.2.
