Mediaportal + srt/avi (1 Viewer)

Hello,

Is there any possibility to use the internal Mediaportal player with srt+avi (DirectVobSub)? I tried enabling the filter in the Video Post Processing but it doesn't make a difference. The subtitles only show when using an external player, but I prefer the internal player.

Am I missing something or is this not possible yet?

I would recomend you to use ffdshow for subtitles in mp.

Do like this, install ffdshow and then launch the mp config then go to movies and set postprocessing filter to ffdshow subtitle and mae sure its marked in the checkbox.
DO NOT SET DEFAULT LANGUAGE for movies, cause this weill screw up movies with built in subtitles.
This way you will always get the .srt/.sub files loaded if mp can find it, and if you have a movie with built in subtitles you just have to turn em om manually.

This is my findings to always get srt/sub files to work, hope this helps you out.
