Infos:
These Subversion-snaps are compiled at about 01.00h (CET).
You can also visit the official irc-channel (#mediaportal) to get a notice when its ready for download. The trigger !svn gives you the latest update too.
They are not pre-tested, so please use the backup option from time to time.
If you'd like the bleeding edge code and don't mind the inherent risks, upgrade to the snapshot releases as they become available.
If stability is important to you, you might want to stay with the fully-tested releases.

How to install MediaPortal SVN-Snapshots in short:
1) Install MediaPortal 0.2.3.0 RC2, not necessary if already done
2) install .NET Framework Version 2.0
3) Run the Snapshot-Installer. You should create a backup.
4) Run Configure. Sometimes the settings and database versions change from build to build, so you have to reconfigure your TV for example
5) Hopefully enjoy the new version
6) If not, restore your old files and you will have the former version back.

Important notice: The backup function wont work for Vista atm, here you need to save your configuration manually. A rewrite is planned but will take some more time for testing.

Internet Streams (.pls) have gone from "My Radio". Only DVB Radios listed... (they were there on last SVN 16086)

Hi,
peque, .pls files works here & shows up in Radio, if you use TVPlugin you're posting in wrong place, else a mediaportal.log should tell whats going on.

Ok... Uninstalled TV Plugin (this same SVN) and Internet Radios show up again... Thanks. I'll post this on TV-Engine SVN post.

Hi,

i reinstalled my system and the new svn but when im going to configure the tv chanels place is freeze and move slow and sometimes hang.

this appen from some svn ago : when i change channell position in channell list it take a long time (but dont freeze);
i think it depend from channellist.xml...

Don't want to moan but these latest SVN's (about 2 weeks or so) no longer work with the Cyberlink PDVD7 decoder.
Selecting this codec anywhere means that tv doesn't start, or it starts but no sound, or it starts but just freezes the picture.

This maybe to do with the new DVB/Teletext subtitle filter, I will also post this in that thread, anyone here using the subtitle filter and the Cyberlink decoder succesfully?

pmcguire, Cyberlink works very nice with MP here, if you're talking about TVE3/TVPlugin do that in the other thread

power dvd 7 works fine but i dont get hardware accelerated grafix from my 8600 Nvidia.

But my problem is that the configuration util is buggy in the latest svn. Tried again och when i shall move chanels it gets slow and freez.
