if the server act like a dlna server

that could be very great if it s possible, or am i dreaming ?

Hi carlo, you're not dreaming, not totally, let me explain :

We're working on a server plugin that will hopefully make MP2-Server a UPnP/AV server. It means it might not be 100% DNLA compatible, but should work with most UPnP/AV equipements, and DNLA equipements are UPnP/AV based.

So yes, in the future, we hope it will be possible to access the server directly from a TV or any UPnP/AV device (such as tablets, phones, etc...), , just by using a network connection, wired or not.

Of course, in this case of use, you'll loose the functions of the MP2-Client, but it mihht be a nice option for in example a TV in the kitchen or the bedroom... Or to watch your favorite movie on your tablet in the garden...
