Why cant I install this old version of mediaportal anymore? Getting some error message. Is there some simple explanation?

Error message:
Download of settings file failed.
Please review your InternetExplorer configuration
Corrupted config file, if found, will now be deleted

Not sure what is causing the problem. The devs should be able to answer.

Presumably you will already have all the other required software installed, so you can try to extract the separate mediaportal and tvserver exe installation files from MediaPortal_Setup_1.0_RC2.exe.

7zip should be able to do that.
