MediaPortal Version: Not sure where to get version no MediaPortal Skin: StreamedMP Windows Version: Windows 7 CPU Type: Intel Core i5 760 HDD: SamsungHD204UI 2TB x 2 Memory: 4GB Motherboard: Gigabyte P55-USB3 Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 5600 Hi hope someone can help, My hard drive packed in recently, luckily i backed everything up and did a system restore so back up and running. Before my Hard drive failure Media portal worked seemlessly. No issues. After restore im getting the following message come up when i start MP, Exception while attempting to read MediaPortal location from registry MediaPortal must be installed, is Media Portal Installed? Object reference not set to an instance of an object. I then click OK and get the next message, Cant find MediaPortalDirs.xml \MediaPortalDirs.xml When i click through the messages MP does open up and seems to be working. I also get the same error messages come up when i try to go into the StreamedMP Editor, although when i go through the messages on editor it wont open. Has anyone experienced this before? im hoping there is a quick fix for this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Cameron.
