Menu configuration (1 Viewer)

I've been trying to customise the menus and screen displays and can't work it all out...

1. Am I right in thinking that the Basic Home Menu can't be customised, and also that it's not available in all skins?

2. I've disabled all the plugins that I don't want to appear but can't get rid of My Plugins from the main menu. And when clicked, it gives me a blank menu page, unless I enable some plugins and tell them to display in MY Plugins rather than the Home Menu.

3. I've disabled scrolling in the main menu as I've only got 4 entries that I want, but 5 are still shown on the screen - one of them is duplicated. How can I get rid of the duplicate?

4. The Home plugin configuration gives an option for Use My Plugins and Custom Menus. If I try using Custom Menus, I just can't work out how to configure the list. Putting My Music in the menu structure as a top level item doesn't make it appear in the menu, and putting it as a submenu means that when it's clicked on I get a blank submenu. I've deleted a lot of things from the initial defaults, but if I want to put them back I don't know how I'm supposed to configure them - the images etc. I assume that the Custom Menus is the way to go if you want to rename the menu items (e.g. Movies, instead of My Videos) but I don't know how to configure them.

5. The Topbar plugin, I assume, is the bar that appears at the top of a page and contains the back button, and VCR style controls etc. I want it to pop up at the top of all screens when I move the mouse there, then hide itself when the mouse is moved away, but its behaviour seems inconsistent across screens and skins and I can't configure it to do exactly what I want.[/img]

Skin Dependant, As in all previous updates BLUE TWO is the skin that is used to test everything and is the UPTO DATE one to use. if a couple of weeks have passed hopefully the other skins will have caught up. But will never be upto date in cvs (unless everyone but the skinners do not go on holiday )
