I installed your Url source splitter, disabled Windows Firewall and added exclusion to MS Essentials but still get no signal on channel scan. As said previously, streaming with VLC works fine so the router does not seem to be the cause.
Find the logs attached with increased verbosity as suggested.
I downloaded Wireshark but have no much idea on what port I should listen to, and what is needed to help you investigating my issue.
As I see you use filter from this thread. MPIPTVSource.ini file is related to filter delivered with MediaPortal. As I see from logs, there is no single received byte from server (except RTSP requests and responses). This filter uses (by default) ports 50000 - 50001 to receive incoming data, so check if these ports are forwarded from router to client.

Work wit Wireshark is really simple:
    1. start Wireshark
    2. click Capture -> Interfaces, then tick interface, which have to be monitored and Start
    3. try to scan or watch one channel
    4. after close of MP, in Wireshark Capture -> Stop
    5. then File -> Save as ... and attach saved Wireshark log (if it is too big, then send link)

I just added the 50000 and 50001 ports and all started working! All channels found. I just miss sound on HD channels: e-ac3 sound so codecs not set up properly. But that's just detail.

    Thank you a lot!

At present time is nothing new. I'm trying to get audio and video in sync for RTSP streams with multiple tracks (e.g. from VLC). Radio scan should work, but filter doesn't make any filtering as previous filter.

    @Lyfesaver74
Were you able to test this with a CableCard?
From what I read in the forums this filter seems to work more stable than the old one. I think @georgius is keen at your results, too^^

Cheers and Happy new year :)

We want you to try if cable card still works when you install the filter from this thread :)
Cable Card support needs this filter and as far as I know this one should replace the current one.

Hey, first off thanks for your active development in this area. I am using a IPTV SAT card (Netstream SAT) with your previous filter (DVB-IP MediaPortal IPTV Source Filter) without any trouble.

Unfortunately, your new filter seems to not correctly handle the HTTP stream in the current version. I recorded three example streams for you to check:

    1) Original stream (directly grabbed from HTTP stream)
    2) MPIPTVSource stream ("old" source filter)
    3) MPUrlSourceSplitter stream ("new" source filter)

    1) and 2) are working without any trouble, but the "new" source filter seems to have some trouble (i.e. stream disruption 6 seconds into stream when played with VLC).

Nothing changed besides the source filter, sat signal quality is very good.

Do you have any clue why this disruption is happening? Thanks for your help!
