As I see you use filter from this thread. MPIPTVSource.ini file is related to filter delivered with MediaPortal. As I see from logs, there is no single received byte from server (except RTSP requests and responses). This filter uses (by default) ports 50000 - 50001 to receive incoming data, so check if these ports are forwarded from router to client.I installed your Url source splitter, disabled Windows Firewall and added exclusion to MS Essentials but still get no signal on channel scan. As said previously, streaming with VLC works fine so the router does not seem to be the cause.
Find the logs attached with increased verbosity as suggested.
I downloaded Wireshark but have no much idea on what port I should listen to, and what is needed to help you investigating my issue.
Work wit Wireshark is really simple:
- start Wireshark
- click Capture -> Interfaces, then tick interface, which have to be monitored and Start
- try to scan or watch one channel
- after close of MP, in Wireshark Capture -> Stop
- then File -> Save as ... and attach saved Wireshark log (if it is too big, then send link)
