Hi,
For the second time in as many months I have had the MFT on my 'Films' HDD become corrupt. I haven't lost anything as I keep a backup of this drive. The drive is a 2Tb Seagate model. It is not making any odd noises, or behaving in a strange manner - it just can't keep hold of its MFT.
I have spent the past 24 hours copying all info from the backup drive. Quite painless really.
Why would this happen, and is there anything I can do to prevent, or recover quickly from this MFT corruption in future?
Thanks,
M
