All of a sudden my remote stoppde working. There's like a delay somewhere.. It used to be "fast" ie. I could browse through a list of tv serie episodes, movies or through the menus of mediaportal. But now it kinda freezes and I have to wait sometimes minutes before the remote reacts again... what is wrong?

I'm runnig XP with the latest mediaportal svn and installed the mce driver (remote works fine in other software) runing purevisionhd skin..

Not stupid at all mate. Actually I suspect that the remote might need new batteries. It lights up and everything but since I get the feeling it died phase by phase it could be that easy actually...

By phase by phase I mean...

First it worked just fine
Then I had to press up button like 4-5 times to move up in mediaportal menu systems...
Then it reacted "now and then" on pressings for a while...
Now it dont work at all..

But I also suspect that it might need some kind of factory reset because now when I press a button it responds with red light lightning up two times (like a responce to some kind of programming)

There are two known ways of factory reset. The most simple way I found in another forum is to put batteries the wrong way and press some button for a few seconds. The known way according to manual is holding down dvd menu+arrow left until remote lights off, then press ok and the hole remote answers with lighting up twice.

I dont seem to get it to reset... gonna try new batteries after all anyway..

The first time I installed it I didnt have to do anything (windows xp home) just put in usb and all set and worked in MP straight away
