Microsoft MCE remote Record button (1 Viewer)

I'm having strange problem with my Microsoft MCE remote. From time to time Record button on MCE remotee does not work when TV is in fullscreen. There is no rule for it. One time it works fine, another time it doesn't work. Does anyone else have this problem?

Not had any problems with my MCE remote & rec button(or any other either) & I'm always using fullscreen.

How old are the batteries, as when they start to go, particular buttons seem to fail or go intermitant first.
If changing batteries, do not put new ones in for at least 15 minutes or you may also find problems.
