migrate from sagetv (1 Viewer)

I've been a SageTV user for a year now but would like to give MP a try again.

Sage records in mpeg and writes an XML file for each recording.

Is there a way to import these recordings into MP? Or convert the mpeg files to dvrms or divx with the XML included?
And could I import said converted files?

Then I'd be happy.
