Ariznaf - if you find you run into problems, don't lose hope! I found the setup really difficult with iMon, and there are pages and pages on this forum to help you. I did get my iMon working in the end, but I am using the touchscreen plugin - drop me a pm if I can help at all with the remote side.
The best news I have seen so far is that the MP devs and the tech people from Soundgraph (who make iMon) will be working together in June/July, so we could see iMon as integrated as some of the better know remotes available. Fingers crossed!
