Hi all.

I’ve been looking on-line all day about this, so I thought I would ask the people in the know !
I’m rebuilding my HTPC at the moment, to make it as silent as possible, as my first attempt was a little on the loud side for my liking.
Now, I wish to reuse my existing chassis, which was just a cheap :

Now, the PSU is a little louder than I would like, so I wish to replace it.
I’m looking for a Mini ITX PSU that would fit that case, which is quiet !
Can you offer me any pointers please ?

    Hi Andy.

For silent low power system I've opted for :

    MINI-ITX 1U Case Smallest 12V 200W &
150W Switching Power Supply 12V 12.5A Single Output
    , from Ebay -
marcmart - stuff works, price ok, many similar sellers.
NOTE - the 150 W PSU is an enclosed chassis unit but it's will 'wire it to the mains yourself' with exposed connectors - a double insulated standard power brick is the clean external option - I'm building PSU into case and I've tinkered with mains & psu for many years (and still been zapped on occasions) - use with extreme care!!!!
