Minimizing MP when launching game? (1 Viewer)

Is there a way to minimize MediaPortal when a game is launched (like MultiShortCut does)?
I need this because I have enabled 'always keep MediaPortal on top'.

Disabling this option is not really an option, because then I loose control over HD movies (see: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...5/mp-background-last-coreavc-1-8-5-0-a-49818/), and there are some programs running on my htpc that would otherwise steal focus from MP

not sure if anyone has worked on this issue however this is also causing me problems.... im sure there is a way to do it hopefully this will be a feature of the next release however as a tempory solution ill look at creating some scripts to try and get this done, if i can get them to work ill post them here

I fixed this issue about a month ago and the fixes are sitting in SVN. A test version with the fix can be acquired by going to the repository (the first post in the My Emulators sticky), downloading the RAR file there, and extracting it to MP.

I am not sure when a new version will be released. Chreekar and I would appreciate some feedback on the test version so we can fix any issues that come up as that would speed up the release of the next version.

sorry its taken me a while to finish this up

I tried the test version and so far that has fixed all my issues MP minimises then when i close the emulator it starts back up again

so far no other issues with the test build although i haven't used it a lot just yet ill post back if I notice anything
