Must admit, like this much better than Joost and this would make one he** of a MP plugin.

This was known as the "Democracy player" open source project before. It has been proposed before. (though never implemented afaik) Basically it's (if not changed) an RSS-feeds based system.

Great idea BTW.

Just Downloading it. It looks like their own Guide does not do RSS. I thought we already have (somewhere) an Internet Video Player plugin, that may handle all RSS providing sites.

A little more info
Player combines ffdshow with bittorrent client to download and a guide which is hosted on getmiro, which aggregates RSS feeds.

This is a great idea and some one gotta do it... This is basically TV on demand, its all set up with RSS's waiting, all we need is a nice interface, maybe a vamp up of "Online Videos" would do this seeing as that plugin is pretty much dead in the water... It's ashaim, online media on demand in a HTPC fashion is where it is at..
