[Bug] MKV: Forced Sub not loading by default (1 Viewer)

A few of my MKV files have multiple subtiles in it. One of the subtitles is marked as forced one.
While playing the file in MP the forced one was not loaded by default. I have to press the subtitle button once on my remote to active the sub.

Confirmed. MP is ignoring/not seeing the forced/default subtitle track flag.

I had the same behaviour with MPC-HC using the internal mkv splitter.
After installing the latest version of HAALI-Splitter the problem disappeared.
Therefore I believe this issue is somehow related to the used mkv-splitter.

Perhaps installing this will solve your issue...

Unfortunately I already have the latest (1.10.175 20-MAY-2010) Haali Media Splitter installed and the problem is still there.
