Hello people,

I have given the Infoservice skinfiles for Titan a bit different style:

-Feed/site images are now visible.
-Strings in listcontrol have some more space.
-Included hover image.
-Include new homebutton. (thanks to @kiwijunglist)
-Added '9' as label at the left upper corner, wich is the translation for 'news'.

Installation: (Titan extended need to be installed)

-Extract the .zip file.

-Put the xml file into: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\Titan (or in the theme folder you are using)

-Put the Media folder into: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\Titan\Media (or in the theme folder you are using)

Nice work, button looks great, background looks great, button + background as same is a bit meh.

Offcourse that's personal but I agree with you.. Maybe I will look for another backgroud.. Or just use one of your other buttons!

Added a small update to the topicstart.

"fanart_overlay.png" is added to the background to fit the Titan style better.

Hi powermarcel10,
I extracted your InfoService 24-06-2013 Zip File and copied the Xml file & Media. However when I restarted InfoService there was no change, almost as if the your files didn't have any effect. Any ideas as to what I did wrong or what I didn't do.
Secondly, how did you get the Internet and Weather buttons on Basic Home Screen as shown in your InfoService 3 Jpeg. I have put that question seveal times in other forum categories with no response. It would be great if you could help me, this is what I really want to do. Sorry for the bold print. just wanted to get your attention.

Hi @Calsi:

Please remove the skin cache: c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache and see if this change something.

About the other things, you can manually change the skin .xml files. But you need to know some things about skinning. Here is my modded Titan version. Please extract the .zip and put the folder 'powermarcel10' into you theme folder: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\Titan\Themes

I don't know if that will work for you, as I'm not shure if everything will be translated, but you can try it..

I got it to work, I didn't have the images in the correct files. works great and looks good. I will try your Zip files and if it works I'll let you know.

Hi again powermarcel10,

Question: Do the images appear for all sites or is only for selected sites. I only got images for the NASA site but none for the news sites such as CNN, BBC etc.
Have a look at my Jpeg and by the way I found a another button and background from another post that is more indicative as to what InfoService is all about. And as you can see I successfully got rid of Trakt and Extensions and replaced them with WorldWeather and The Internet.
