More standby issues... (1 Viewer)

Hi all...
i have a standby issue with my single seat setup ( Client + Server on same machine ) running 1.0 RC1.
In TVServer config, i have power scheduler set to go into standby after 10 minutes of innactivity... Problem is, that when i watch a video file thru " My Videos", the machine will go into standby after 10 minutes... Is that suppose to happen ?
Kinda defeats the purpose if i have to disable Power Scheduler to watch a video and re-enable afterwards...

Hi,
Make sure that you have enabled "Power Scheduler Client Plugin" in MediaPortal Configuration(the old PowerScheduler must be disabled) & set it to only allow standby when in Home else this works fine here, no problem with using any program in MP & Power Scheduler.
Btw, the settings for Power Scheduler Client should be the same as for the one in TV Setup.

But now i am confused...
In MediaPortal Configuration, i have " Power Scheduler Client Plugin" & " Power Scheduler "
I also have " Power Scheduler " in TV Server Configuration...

Which one do i use / don't use and what do they each do ?

Hi,
You use the one in TV Server -> plugins (in singleseat, this it's the one that desides everything & needs to be configured) + enable Power Scheduler Client Plugin in MediaPortal Config -> Plugins.

Just one thing though, i don't understand what " Client / Server Local Settings " are used for... These settings are also in the " Power Scheduler " plugin on TV Server config... Why do you have to set these in 2 different locations ?

Hi,
The Client settings it's when you use MediaPortal + TVPlugin in multiseat(on another comp not running TV Server). The old Power Scheduler it's only used when you're not using TV Server/TVPlugin @ all.
