Hey guys,

I would like to suggest an improvement for the download section of the MP homepage: A sorted list of the most popular downloads.

Unfortunately, I don't have the time to continuously browse through all Forum posts, so it is likely that I miss great new plugins or extensions unless there is a huge discussion about them. But if the extension is good, it is likely that many people download it and so it would show up high on the list of most popular downloads.

I assume you have this information somewhere in your site, so maybe it's not too difficult to implement...?

Hi Sepp, thanks for your suggestion, we are about to release a new repository within the next weeks (together with the renewed homepage). This will provide a lot more statistics than the old one, for example 'popular extensions'.

And maybe a world-map with those numbers in the countries?
