Hello,

Ever since I upgraded to 1.4 some mouse/UI things seem out of whack.

1) My mouse will be over a button but the button to the right of it will be highlighted. If I click, that button to the right will be activated/pressed. More specifically, the mouse pointer is to the left AND a little above the button that is highlighted.

2) That top contol bar that appears when you mouse to the top of the screen stretches off of the right side of the screen even though other UI elements are properly positioned via UI calibration. Issue #1 applies to the buttons in this menu as well. I have checked both Streamed MP and DefaultWide. Both exhibit this.

The mouse works fine in all other Windows programs.

I couldn't find any posts about this. What could be happening and how can I fix it?

I can post whatever logs and specs are needed. Please point me in the right direction.

Thanks.

Thannk you for your prompt reply.

    No to font/DPI scaling
    No to screen calibration
    Yes to UI calibration

I use a Sony KD34XBR960 CRT HD television so I need to adjust the UI due to the excessive CRT overscan area. I do not adjust the video calibration. Most of the UI seems to obey, usually. Just now the timeline that appears when you fast forward was way too low. I stopped playback and restarted and it was back to where it should be. It definitely seems 'UI calibration' related to me.

    Ideas?

    Thanks!

    Bump. mm1352000, where are you?
    Right here. :)

I'd agree: it seems likely that the UI calibration is the issue. I know zero about this area of the code and I have little time to investigate further, so I'm sorry but I don't think there is anything further I can do to assist. To be clear, my questions were to clarify your configuration in the hope that this would make it easier for other people who know more than me to help you.

Thanks for your reply. Do you know who does know this area of code and could you possibly point them to this post? Or, what else can I do to get this issue in front of someone that can help further?

    Thanks!

This is still an issue in v1.5. How can I get help resolving this problem?
