As a precursor to the analog switch off, due for my transmitter (Fenton, UK) in Sept, one of the mux has been moved. This means that in order to re tune the Central, Fenton transmitter cannot be used. I have to select all regions. This scan takes forever, but did eventually find all the stations on the moved mux.
My question is will an update for these scanning frequencies be put out or will we have to wait for the full switch off in september?

If you post what the new frequencies for Fenton are then I'm sure someone can commit the XML file to SVN

On a similar note - with the switchover, will a re-scan be enough? i.e. will mediaportal know that channels have moved, and thus keep the combinations etc? Or is it best to wipe the channels and do a scan from fresh (as is suggested that we do on freeview boxes)?

The mux which has moved on the fenton transmitter is 546000 and is now 570000. The 546000 is now HD on the Wrekin. I have amended my xml for Fenton to take account of this. Re scanned and ann channels found.
    Have attached the amended XML
