Is there a more efficient movie database addon.

I find the current painful as a slight change the path and you loose all your hard work of scanning IMDB.

Surely a MD5 checksum or some ways to nail the data down the purely the filename and not the path?

Well so far it works flawlessly. Picks up most of the movies easy compared to the previous one.

Just need to see if I can sort things by the year. But thanks again piranha. Excellent plugin!!

Movie Search

Hi, to add to this I have my movies or tv shows eg. in folders B:\THIRD WATCH\DISC 1\THIRD WATCH 1.iso and so on all I want is the coverart and synopsis for the first folder only can this be done, it struggles with imdb to find them even manually!!

probably because its a tv show not a movie, can I add other search engine TVDB etc etc??? If so How?

same with movies too, if i cant can I add my own thumbnail image to the folder and then get it to display that on MP?

For TV shows, see the TV Series plugin. It took me a long time to try it, but I love it. It was good enough that I split all my TV Series isos into individual folders per episode, since it couldn't scan or mount isos.

TV Series uses TVDB for source data.

ill check it out, why doesnt it read iso's i thought MP did with VLC or Daemon tools.
