Movie File Formats (1 Viewer)

Hey guys.

I'm trying to find the most efficiant file type to store my movies from a DVD. The way I store them ow takes up around 4 Gs per movie. Thats ripping them as .ifo or DVD files.

Are there any other files types smaller with good quality?
