Movie viewing problem (1 Viewer)

Hi,
My setup is : PC P4, Geforce 5200 resolution 1280X1024
Tv - Toshiba- CV500t 42"
I have a problem viewing movies with MP on my TV. I cannot seem to get the movie to fit.
The only way it works is when I use Windows Media player.
I could live with that but my streamzap remote works much better with MP.
I installed K-lite codec pack but it did not help, I also tried changing the player, It either was to big
or I got a black screen.
The annoying part is that it worked well in the past but I had to reformat my pc and I cant get it working again
Can anyone help me out with this?

When you say you can't get the movie to fit, do you mean it's too large or too small? Also, have you tried hitting the menu button on your remote to bring up the context menu, then select "Change Aspect Ratio"?

I have tried to change the ratio but it never fits my TV screen.
It always seems to be too big.

Another thing I have just noticed is,
When my pc resolution is set to 1024X768, everything works ok on the TV, even with the MP decoder.
The problem happens only when me pc resolution is on 1280X 1024.
As I am using clone mode I cant seem to have two different resolutions for pc and TV.
