Moving mediaportal to a new hdd (1 Viewer)

I've been running my OS/ mediaportal drive from an old 80gb ide drive, Finally got around to picked up a 60GB SSD today.

Is there any easy way to move my mediaportal library over to the new install? I'm using my TV-series, Moving-pictures, myMusicVideos.

Or will I have to rescan everything in?

Hi there,

You havent stated if you want to move the whole OS, or just MePo data?

If the whole thing, then you can consider imaging/ghosting - but be warned depending on your OS it might not boot - as you are going from a PATA/IDE to a SATA boot device.

If all you are after is MePo data, then there is a backup plugin that exports everything, and will allow you to reimport again.
