My Mediacetner never turns off (it sleeps)

I use moving pictures but it only autoscans on mediaportal load up.. Since my mediaportal never quits and reloads the autoscan never runs.

With tv-series i can overcome this because it has an option under actions - force local scan. that i can do with my remote. but i cant seem to find an option for that with moving picture.s

is there any solutions?

first off, there is a separate and dedicated subforum for moving pictures here: Moving Pictures - MediaPortal Forum
also, the scanner (importer) keeps working in the background and checking for additions or deletions on your watched folders.

0.7 should rescan on resume/wake and will rescan every time it looses connection with a watched folder.
You can check the logs to see if that's the case.

My MovingPictures even adds new movies added to my location automatically while playing another movie or when in another plugin. Maybe you're missing out on something?

hi I have a Problem. I added new Movies in my Movie Folder. I Started Moving Pictures Config to update the folder. problem is that the importer doesn't show my new movies. I just installed this plugin and don't know everything yet. What am I missing? How do I configure Moving Pictures to recognize new Movies in my Folder?

Check that you have the file extention listed in the Mp config - video - extentions.

yes I have. I already have movies added. At the first time I entered the direcotries of my movies they imidiatly came up and were added. but new movies are not recognized..
