I have a very annoying Problem with Moving Pictures.
Very often, when I want to add some Moves in the configuration movingpictures sends many movies back to the importer. After fixing it by hand or copying an older database it is fine for some time.
It seems this happens only to movies on an external drive, but swapping it ist seems to be no general problem.

AW: Moving Pictures send Movies back to Importer

Today it happened again, but this time I found something in the old.log:

04-Feb-2012 14:07:32 Info [DatabaseMaintenanceM]: Invalid file: F:\File1.mkv (does not exist)

    04-Feb-2012 14:07:38 Info [ MovieImporter]: Removing: File1.mkv
04-Feb-2012 14:07:38 Info [ DBLocalMedia]: Removing 'File1.mkv' and associated movie.

    and so on with File2....

File1.mkv stands for the movies on my external disc. So it seems, that if the external HD is not connected, the importer can't find the movies and deletes them from the database.
The next time I will connect the external HD, the importer will add the files as new.

It should be like in mytvseries, which shows the non-existing files in another color.
Or is it my fault and I messed up in the configuration?

Today it happened again, but this time I found something in the old.log:

This is where a *FULL* log file, with debug-verbosity enabled inside MediaPortal config, is needed on both situations (when it removes it, and when it adds it).

Because normally MovPic will recognize the unique ID from the external HDD and will not remove those movies from the database when it detects that the drive is not currently connected.

But there are situations where that ID is not properly available (which is shown in the debug-verbosity enabled log files) in which case MovPic deletes the movies from database when it can not locate them.

The logs in my first should be with debug-verbosity, because of the watchdog.
In the old.log you can see the "not finding" and "removing, too.

Since I still do not know now how to recreate the problem I have to wait till it occurs again. And fetch the logs with debuging
