MP 1.0.0.0 RC1 crashes when started (1 Viewer)

I have installed the earlier versio (2.3.0) and now the 1.0.0.0 RC1. Both versions crash on start. (The flash screen shows loading of some files. After a few seconds, the application crashes.)

The Microsoft crash report shows the following message:

Download Filmerit to clean up in your filters & try again.

And thanks for that lightening fast reply!

I immediately downloaded Filmerit and ran it. It just produces a task button in the task bar. I can't see its GUI at all. (I have waited till now, and as I write this, it is still in the same state.)

Is there any other way? Thanks in advance.

Not sure all computers i have runs Filmerit without problems.
Is your system updated with all on windows update & you're not running any XP light or with disabled services?

no-The OS is default (I guess the log I have attached would explain the details).

BTW I have installed SUPER (video converter) and VLC. I also have installed the native application for my TV tuner+video capture card (called Honestech PVR).

Oh yes- I forgot: This system is dual boot with Windows XP+Opensuse 10.3 (it starts through GRUB).

I had this exact same problem directly after I installed IE7. I've only been trying MediaPortal 1.0 for a few days, so it could well be that it is not related, but it seemed like the only thing that had changed since the last time MediaPortal worked. And I figure IE has some tie-ins with the whole .NET area of Windows that might have reset something MediaPortal was depending on.

A reinstall of MediaPortal (not the TV Server part) fixed the problem for me.
