You are correct, there are so many version numbers floating around. MP1 is not in anyway an offspring from MP2.MP2 will be a brand new MediaPortal.MP1RC1 is not MP2.I am trying to build a document about revision numbering, but unfortunately, people join the community at different stages of name branding and become used to calling it the old name. I do agree that there should be some constraint put in place and start calling things one name and one name only.
