Hi, I'm currently using MediaPortal 1.0 RC1 with the latest snapshot. I also have the same issues with MP 1.0 RC1 without snapshot. I'm using XP SP3 with WMP11 and also tried this on Windows Vista 32bit. I've got two conflicting issues. I'm using the following codecs: - Gabest Matroska Splitter - DirectVobSub - CoreAVC Pro - Koepi Xvid Codec. Mediaportal is configured to use his own codecs and have the option 5.1 sound on. I load AC3Filter as a post-processing filter for movies. The issue I have in this configuration: - Using Haali splitter, almost no movie plays because DirectVobSub and Haali are conflicting for some reason. A possible solution is described here - Therefore I tried Gabest Matroska Splitter and here only 50% of the .mkv files have this issue. I don't see any difference between files when using Gspot. :S:S - When using directshow filters, everything works for the same .mkv movies that don't work in MP. The issue I have here is that for WMV files I have stereo sound and no subs because WMP11 don't uses directshow anymore (some kind of new framework) and AC3filter and vobsub (directshow filter) aren't loaded. Configuring MP to use only Directshow filters is no solution either... - Disabling Vobsub is no option because the built-in Subtitle support (enabled) just does not work... I use MKV files with built-in subtitles, as well as separate .srt subs with the same filename as the movie (except extension). Can somebody explain all this or determine which of these should be added to the bugtracker. I like MP but I lost ONE WEEK in searching for a solution and now I'm really tired of this. :growl: I tried almost everything and it just does not work perfectly. :thx: MediaPortal Version: 1.0 RC1 with or without latest snapshot MediaPortal Skin: Indigo Windows Version: XP SP3/WMP11 or Vista CPU Type: Intel E2180 dual core HDD: 2 x 750 GB + 1 x 500 GB Memory: 2 GB DDR2 Motherboard: Asus T3 barebone Video Card: Nvidia 6600 Video Card Driver: latest nvidia WHQL Sound Card: onboard soundmax Sound Card AC3: no Sound Card Driver: latest from asus website 1.
