I'm quite new to MP (struggling one week) . Coming from BeyondTV, my experience with MP so far is a mixed bag. Functionality is almost unlimited, MP shows Anysee E30C DVB-C encoded channels (modified SDplug.dll), and playing DVD's from iso's and Video_TS is nice.
But, some behaviour is errant. I used to be able to 'record now' from the TV screen (the button would change to 'stop recording'), but now recording doesn't work anymore. It brings up the screen with 2 options : 1. record current programme and 2 Stop Manually , but pressing either doesn't seem to do anything. (actually my buttons are in Dutch, i translated.
Also scheduled recordings do not record.
Recording via 'Manual Control' in the TV Server Configuration does work however.
Where do i start looking? The logfiles aren't helpfull to me.

Well, i remembererd i made the field 'series' in the table 'schedule' in the SQL database MPTVDB nullable, because Webserver was complaining about the lack of a default value for this field. MP didn't like that; i made the field mandatory again and rebooted; recording works now. The database somehow remembered my previous attempts; sevreal short recordings showwd up in the recording folder. :sorry:
