MP 1.1.0 Beta and Win 7 64 (1 Viewer)

I'm currently running MP1.1.0 beta on WinXP 32 SP3, wathcing live TV (2 DVB S2 cards Firedtv and Cinergy) I am planning on reinstalling my OS to Win 7 64b. The reason for changing to Win 7 64b is to be able to use my 4 GB memory, and my clients seem to use up to 5 seconds when changing channels. I aslo need to reboot the server daily. I am also using MDAPI (know that this is not supported in this forum).
Are there any issues I need to know about before installing Win 7 64b and MP 1.1.0 Beta (of course I need new drivers for my HW)?
Any WIKI or advice on this subject?

Like you have noted just find the drivers that are needed for your hardware., including any remote control drivers which you use.
Also, if you don't already, think about using the SAF...

You will find that even the latest SVN build will not work correctly with the refresh rate changer...

I would recommend installing the latest SVN over the 1.1 beta as there have been many fixes...

I use a Vista compatible remote control (Trust RC2400) and I had to disable the function of TGB within Windows 7 otherwise Windows Media Centre would start up each and every time.

Due to time constraints, but mainly due to needing to have a working HTPC, I gave up with the 1.1 build due to issues with DXVA not working correctly. I might give it a go on another PC to see if I could overcome those issues but with 1.02 working great on my HTPC I just did not have the time to resolve those issues I was experiencing, and have a working HTPC. Also with RC 1 of MP 1.1 being so close I might wait until then to try again on the HTPC.

I do not use MP to watch TV though, I use DVB viewer for that so I'm not sure if there are any issues around that aspect of the software and W 7.

There might be some other things that people can think about but the above will keep you busy for a while.
