The new Music Big Icons and Icons view has some pros and cons. In the middle of the screen the icons are brighter while going to the left or right they get sort' of a bit grey, less colorful.
While the first overall look is quite OK, using it seems not always to be favorable. If the cursor is on the left or right border area it is rather difficult to quickly see where the cursor (the selected folder/album) actually is. Normally the currently selected item should stand out - but as the borders are kind of greyed the selected item does not stand out very much.
Also the "grey" border areas are not very favorable for someone who does like cover album art a lot.
I've downloaded a lot of high quality album art at Album Art Exchange - High Quality Album Art / CD Cover Art: Home and did a lot of scanning of my own CDs (and still doing), that I then contribute to that site.
So the covers that a placed at the border areas look rather dull
