MP 1.4 Issues (1 Viewer)

Sorry to trouble you guys. I had 1.4 up and running quite well then had three issues crop up:​

​

1. Started MP, click on TV ON and it hung for a couple of minutes. Log is attached.​

​

2. My two weeks of programs from SD disappeared. Is there a way to force a reload of the programs in MP?​

​

3. Started TV SERVER and clicking OK did nothing so I could not save the settings, among them to load SD programs when starting MP.​

​

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dave​

First thing to do is this:

That will fix the first two problems, if not also the third problem.

Thanks mm for the rapid response. I fixed the data base although had to do it twice before I got all OK,s on all the tables.
Can you help further?
1. When I start MP and TURN TV ON it still hangs for perhaps 2 min and then comes up with UNKNOWN ERROR.( Log in prev message)
2. The TV Guide now shows up but it won't record anything.
3. Can you explain how to delete a single show from the remote (Hauppauge).

Right, seems there may still be issues with the database. Did you restart the TV service after fixing the DB?

PS: @michael_t these logs are a really good example of the frustrations that I have with PS logging. I know Dave is not using PS++, but just pointing out why I get frustrated...

How do I restart the TV service.

Is there a different logging procedure that I should use to make your life easier?

1. Open TV Server configuration.
2. Go to the "manual control" section.
3. Click "stop service"... then "start service".

No, not at all. That comment is directed at one of our team members. We've been having discussions about how we might improve the logging for the TV service recently, and your logs were just a good example of something I wanted to point out to him.

OK we are better now. When I turn TV on it says No Free Card, no tv pic but all seems to be working.. yet when I play a recorded show the tv pic comes up fine. I have a single seat Hauppauge Colossus. Log attached

OK, I am in pretty good shape now, thanks to your help. Two questions if I may:
1. After installing MP we are cautioned to activate Aero but I do not find anywhere telling me how to do this. How do I do this?

2. How do I view in slow motion? I somehow got slow motion (video and sound) yesterday but have no idea how I did it.
