    Today I sumbled upon this:

As the new server/client architecture of MP (now only for tv) is going on, I thought it would be a great idea of having this kind of client over the network.

Prices at the moment are far too high for these devices, but as I'm thinking of moving in an year, the idea of having a full integrated house-digital-system is coming on.

I know MP deeply relies on DX technology, so I really don't know if it's possibile to run it in the kind of enviroment thin clients are in. But it's interesting, don't you think?

This was brought up the other day in another thread.

You wont be able to run a full MP frontend as they use Windows CE .NET 4.2 as an OS rather than Windows XP. However, there is no reason why a cut down version of the frontend client couldn't be used, or even just a raw RTSP player. As long as it has enough power to display standard deffinition video, then they will be useful if someone can get some software sorted out for them.
