Hi all!

I have searched a bit on the forum and found a few posts regarding the issue but havent found a real solution yet. I am rather new to MP although I have set it up on my laptop and have it working.
Now I have got myself and XBOX360 and would like to set my XBOX up as an extender as I have done with VistaMCE.

However I like the tweaking possibilities that I've seen with MP better and therefor wonder if this is possible.

My uses are
- Listening to my music collection
- Watching downloaded movies
- Watching photos

I'd also like to be able to add online content and radio stations. Anybody got any pointers for this?

Unfortunately Mediaportal can't be used in this way.
Vista MCE is probably the best way of doing it, that is how I have mine set-up. This is a restriction of the Xbox rather than Mediaportal.

I'm pretty sure there is a plugin for the 360 that allows watching these things, as well as recorded tv. Not sure about live tv.
I think it's in the downloads section. Try a quick search there and report back :)

Sorry but that plugin in only for the original Xbox running xboxmce, not the 360.

You can still let the 360 access the media center extender services and use mediaportal on the main htpc, works fine for me.
My kids use it as a mce extender while I'm using Mediaportal all the time. it would probably cause a conflict if they tried to watch the same thing or tune tv channels while I was viewing tv at the same time, but I'm usually watching dvd's or xvid's w/tvseries plugin.
I am using mce 2005, but it should work fine for vista as well.

TVersity is unable to handle RTSP streams..... so if you want to watch Live Tv, Tversity wont help you. Take a look at the plugin instead.

TVersity does fullfil the requirments TORMI stated.
Works fine with the Xbox-360, as long as you don't want to stream live TV. I use it myself (well, my kids do) for the same reason. the Xbox-360 is already connected to a TV, so just use the TV to watch TV, use the Xbox-360 to watch media.
