I've been playing with MP for a few months, using my 24" Monitor as a screen, all in all it was pretty good, everything worked well...
I have finally got round to purchasing a nice 40" HDTV, and some new surround sound speakers. (A Samsung 40" M87 TV and KEF 2005.2 speakers if anyones interested).
I now have an amazing set-up and Media Portal shines! I have mapped the receiver volume buttons to my MCE remote, and the TV power button also, so I only have one GF friendly remote! Everything works flawlessly, and simply!
I just want to say a big thanks to the MP team for producing such great software! Everyone who has seen the setup loves it, and they don't even realise its a HTPC, they just think I have a really fancy TV! That shows how well, and how smoothly MP works! (Also how professional the ReVision skin is!)
I always liked MP when I had it running on my PC, but having it in the living room on a big TV is a whole new experience!
