Hello All,
Looking to control a cable/sky box through MP using WinLirc and a simple WinLirc compatible IR blaster, before I start spending my money I am unsure how this would work with my MP clients. My setup is as follows:
1 x TV Server/MP Client. This is the primary server but also runs a MP client. The server streams the output of my TV card which is in turn attached to the cable/sky box.
2 x MP Clients. These clients get the TV feed from the TV server stream.
My ideal solution is using any of the MP clients when I change channel via the EPG in MP it will change the channel on the TV server through an attached IR blaster (which sends the signal to the cable/sky box).
My question is does this solution work in MP as I can understand how it would work on a single seat installation (using the config in the MP client), but how would I, no sorry what would I need to look at to get it working for a multi-seat installation. I see within the TV server configuration that thier is a plugin for Server Blaster, but I cannot find any information on wheter this is the solution?
